Timothy John Kline

Timothy (Timmy) Kline passed away on March 10, 2016 at the age of 54. Born on March 28, 1961, Tim was the oldest son of John Kline and Patricia (Pritchard) Kline. He spent most of his early childhood in Shaker Heights, Ohio, later moving to Chagrin Falls, Ohio with his parents and younger brother Mike. After high school graduation, Tim set off for Sanibel Island, Florida with a close group of friends. There he enjoyed life to its fullest, made lifelong friends and met his future wife Cristin (Pomykala) Kline while working at McT's Restaurant. With his cheerful and welcoming personality, there was not a person in town Tim did not know and he was playfully named "Mayor of Sanibel" by his friends. Tim moved to Stevenson, Maryland where he and Cristin were married in 1996 and began a family. An attentive and loving father, Tim was very proud of his three children and considered fatherhood one of his most important roles. He could often be found cheering from the sidelines at his children's sporting events. Tim later became general manager of 1840s Carrollton Inn in Baltimore where his genuine kindness touched the lives of many guests of the Inn and fellow hospitality professionals. Tim is survived by his former wife Cristin Kline, children Alexander Kline, Julia Kline and Justin Kline, father John Kline, brother Mike Kline and sister Kate Kline and preceded in death by his mother Patricia (Pritchard) Kline and uncle George Pritchard. Everyone loved Tim's big smile, warm laugh and the closeness of his friendship, and he will be deeply missed. The cremation took place at Peaceful Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Center, P.A. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Gramercy Mansion, 1400 Greenspring Valley Road, Stevenson, MD 21153, on April 10, 2016 from 1 – 4 p.m.
