Timothy Stuart Macarthur

Thirteen years tardy in discovering this, so I´m reflecting on my experience in the fraternity with both Rick and Tim with a mix of disappointment at his early passing and satisfaction for having had the chance to know him a bit. He was always pretty cheerful and set a good example for those around him. I have other specific memories that would take too long to chronicle here. Fine guy. Cindy may remember when I drove him into KC one weekend so he could see her. A very handsome couple.

I am thinking of your family. Please let me know if I can do anything to help you in this time of need. I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

I was so sorry and shocked to learn of Tim's passing. I flew with Tim at Southwest Airlines and I hunted with him in New Mexico. For the 21+ years I knew him, few people approached his character, concern for others, and his love for life. I truly will miss his smile and warmth. SWA has lost a great pilot and friend. My prayers are with you all.

What a legacy Tim has left; independent, intelligent and loving daughters and wife! We are indeed fortunate to have occupied the same world as him.

My life is richer for having known and loved the MacArthur family for more than 30 years, and I will forever treasure every single memory of Tim. His combination of intellect, wit, wisdom, enthusiasm, loyalty to friends and devotion to family were an inspiration to all who knew him.
