Timothy Mark "Tim" Sellers

Last Friday evening, Tim Sellers, 46, lost his life in a tragic boating accident. His passing has left a huge hole in the hearts and lives of his family and friends. Tim leaves behind his wife, Victoria Sellers, his son, Timothy, daughters, Anna and Olivia, stepsons, Brent and Matthew, parents CMSgt. Vic and Sybil Sellers, sisters Cindy (Bill) Snowden, Lynne (Skip) Ellsworth, and his many nieces and nephews.
Born in Bossier City, La., Tim spent most of his life in the Niceville area. He attended Plew, Ruckel, Niceville High School, and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the University of South Alabama. Tim became a respected engineer at each of his jobs, and spent the last 17 years at General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems, Niceville, as Chief Engineer.
Our Tim was a loving and generous father, husband, son, brother, uncle and friend. Compassionate and spontaneous, he enjoyed boating, fishing, woodworking, karaoke, and most of all, coming up with ways to entertain everyone with his unique and wacky sense of humor. No one was "safe" from one of Tim's clever, and often times, elaborate pranks. Our lives will never be the same without the love and vitality Tim brought to us. His wife, Victoria, has lost her best friend and confidante; Tim's parents, a precious son. He will be sorely missed by all.
There will be a time of visitation held on Thursday, September 10, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Crosspoint United Methodist Church in Niceville. The memorial service to celebrate Tim's life will begin at 11 a.m. Tim will be laid to rest at Heritage Gardens Cemetery in Niceville immediately following the service.
For those who may wish to contribute, Niceville High School's Class of 1987 has set up a college fund for Tim and Victoria's 19-month old daughter, Olivia Grace. Donations can be made to her scholarship fund at Eglin Federal Credit Union, 838 Eglin Parkway, Fort Walton Beach.
