Timothy Steele Obituary
Army 1st Lt. Timothy J. Steele, 25, a native of Duxbury, Mass., died Tuesday, August 23, 2011 in Kandahar, Afghanistan, from wounds suffered in combat.
Wake services were held Sept 1 at William F. Hogan Funeral Home, Highland Falls, N.Y. A celebration Mass will be held at 10 a.m. today Holy Trinity Church, West Point, N.Y., with burial and final honors at 11 a.m. at West Point Cemetery.
Tim is survived by his wife, Meaghan Rogers Steele of Fort Drum, N.Y. a native of Houma; and a daughter, Liberty Hope Steele of Fort Drum, N. Y.; his parents, John and Mary Ellen Steele of Duxbury, Mass. and was one of their 10 children; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Scott and Hope Liner Rogers; and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Kendall Rogers and Jordan Rogers of McKinney, Texas, all are natives of Houma.
He served in Operation Enduring Freedom with the 10th Mountain Division, 2nd Battalion, 87th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Combat Brigade Team based out of Fort Drum, N.Y.

I am so sorry for you loss. I learned about the loss of Lt. Steele when I was searching for the picture of my little brother, CPT Joshua Steele on Faces of the Fallen.
