Tim was the best and such a great friend of mine in those early decades of life. I can only imagine the amazing stories and memories of love, humor, and generosity he has left you all. Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of this wonderful man.

Tim Sullivan has left an indelible (literally) impression on the entire Madeline Island community. Passing by Woods Hall, will remind us of what he did with both his heart and his hands.
From St. John's and Woods Hall, please accept our sympathies on the loss of one of Madeline's most beloved islanders.

Tim was always there to play croquet - summer or winter it didn´t matter. He came to play and play he did! Memories of him on the court making those "impossible 60 foot plus shots" one after the other. As one of the founding members of the Madeline Island Croquet Club, he was happy to give you advice on how to advance your game. We´ve missed him and his joyful presence.

Some of my favorite times with grandpa Tim were just simple. I would go down to work and open up the shop around 7:30 and it was so quiet in town not many people were around and it was just gorgeous out. Then I would go outside to enjoy the sun and I´d look out and there he was. Tim, every morning outside motion to go just hanging out, sitting at the tables outside, next to his bike, enjoying the day. So I would go and sit by him and say to him "hey Tim how´s it going" and he´d say "it´s going good what a beautiful day" and man I´m really gonna miss those mornings, he could always make my day better. I miss you and I love you Tim. I hope it´s beautiful wherever you are.

Tim was so kind and such a warm and wonderful presence. I felt really special, honored and cool as Tim would tell me that we were the "Timo´s" on the island. I´ll miss seeing him riding passed me on his bike and especially the conversations that we had in front of Mission Hill Coffee. I know many folks knew him much longer than me, and as a newcomer to Madeline Island he made me feel welcome and special. He´ll be missed! Sending my condolences and all my love to Molly, the family and everyone

Tim built a large fireplace for me. In the process, we became really good friends.
I consider the fireplace a work of art!

This was leaving Applefest in 2022. Uncle Tim was always someone I admired growing up! He had a way to make you feel whole, like no matter what life threw at you, you were strong enough to face it! Love and kindness
