Timothy Sweeney

I have many great memories with my brother running are 10speed bikes to auburn ravine, camping at the river hiking the John Muir trail. Tim was the one that got me interested in bike riding,hiking and camping in kings county.

Tim was the second of my four brothers. I remember that he had a happy childhood roaming around Fair Oaks California, riding his dirt bike at Sailor Bar Park along the American River, hiking and backpacking along the John Muir Trail portion of the Pacific Crest Trail, and hanging out with his brothers and friends from Bella Vista High School. He enjoyed learning about the ecology and geology of the Sierra Nevada and taking nature photos, especially in the Reno/Tahoe area. It´s hard to accept that he is no longer puttering around his townhouse in Sparks or out on a hike at Mr Rose. There is definitely a special person missing from our family.

Tim and I lived in Verdi,Nv for a few years We worked together at Prospector Truck Stop which is now known as Goldranch.Tim was a good friend and he will be missed R.I.P my friend.
