Farewell my dear old friend. I will forever treasure the many memories; Our City Championships together, the great dinners we shared, the Vegas Open trips. So many memories. You were truly one of a kind and will be missed by many. Love never dies and we'll all meet again in heaven. xox

"Aunt" Tina may have been my mom´s cousin - technically my cousin too - but titles never mattered. Growing up, she was always Aunt T or Aunt Tina to me.

She had the most beautiful curly hair and the kind of magical personality that made you feel special just by being around her. Every year, without fail, she sent me a Christmas card - starting when I lived with my parents and continuing even after I bought my own home. She kept that tradition alive, even when she was sick. I can still picture them: her neat handwriting, the year written in ink at the top or bottom. It was something I always looked forward to.

Even though she lived in Arizona and we were in Maryland, her love managed to cross every mile between us. You could feel it, no matter the distance.

I pray she´s at peace now, free from the horrible battle with cancer. Please keep our family - especially her son - in your thoughts and prayers. She was like a sister to my mom, and I know this loss is hitting her deeply.

We will miss you, Aunt Tina. Your love, your warmth, and your spirit will never be forgotten.

Tina was an amazing colleague, she was always willing to help me, took time out of her busy day to do so. She also shared the love she had for her family and her fur babies. The joy and excitement she brought to our team during Christmas was contagious also when sharing about her travel adventures, I couldn't help to smile. The last picture she shared with us was one she took before attending her first concert, Stray Cats. You are and will be missed. To Tina's family, may you find comfort in the love and support of those around you, my deepest condolences.

Over the years while Tina was working with Arizona State Univ she and I had built a good friendship. We rode the ASU shuttle to and from main campus together sharing many frustrating and happy experiences at work. Tina was a no nonsense kind of person that took time to learn all of the nuances of her job and other's jobs so to understand the full picture to get the job done and the end of the day. My condolences to her family during this difficult time.

I learned so much from Tina about leadership and life over the years of working with her, and am so grateful for the time with her. Attached are photos from our last work team outing where we kayaked in Tempe Town Lake, which was Tina's idea, the adventurer that she was!
