Tina Michelle Holman MARION, Va. Tina Michelle Holman, age 40, passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer on Thursday, April 22, 2010. She was born in Smyth County, Va., on September 7, 1969. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; Glen Powers and Bud and Juanita Crouse. She had been employed at Buster Brown and was an auctioneer. Tina was a loving mother and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by one son, Mickey Holman, Marion, Va.; one daughter, Santana Powers and fianc‚e Cory Peeples, Marion; her parents, John and Doris Crouse Powers, Chilhowie, Va.; one brother, John Aaron Powers and friend Rhonda Perkins, Saltville, Va.; one sister, Sandra Elledge and husband Mike, Chilhowie; her grandmother, Reka Powers; one nephew, Lucas Elledge; two nieces, Shalyn Powers and Madison Patrick; many aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 24, 2010, from the Bradley's Funeral Home Chapel in Marion with Rev. David Woodward and Pastor Mike Sage officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday at the Riverside Cemetery.
