Tina, a dear one, left a legacy of brilliant writings ,and a delicious memory of a wonderful and one of a kind friend and mentor. Love always.

As my playwriting professor, Tina made the top of my head fly off and encouraged all sorts of wonderful and outrageous things to fly out. She made it easy to cross imagined boundaries, take risks, flop, levitate, laugh, expand, share, laugh, and -- above all else -- to learn. What a gift she was in the world, a fabulous bright light. To her family, you have my sympathies and my deep gratitude for sharing her with us. Tina, thank you for helping me write plays! I honestly couldn't have done it without you -- and wouldn't have wanted to try.

Tina was truly the best: generous, brilliant, outré and infinitely inspiring. And most important, truly beloved by so many of her former students, mentees, colleagues and wide range of friends. We shall not see the likes of her again, but not a day will pass without her genius living on in the imagination of so many others. We will miss you so much, Tina, but hope you are enjoying margaritas with Ionesco.
