It is with broken hearts that our family has to announce the sudden passing of our loved one , Tina Marie Paul, 46 of Membertou First Nation.
Tina was the daughter of Laurie Ann Paul and Chief Terrance Paul (Tracey). Besides her parents those left to mourn are her sons, Jordon and Myles (Irene) Paul; daughter, Raven Paul and grandson Lawrence Jordon Paul-Doucette; brothers, Jarrod, John (Pamela), Evan, Bradley, Carl, Shane, Leon Paul and Justin Johnson; sisters, Justine Paul and Julie Porter; godfather Joseph Denny; godchild, Tom Brady Paul; as well as a large number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Tina was predeceased by her grandparents Dr. Lawrence Fredrick Paul Sr., Ethel Cope-Paul, Philomena Paul, Phillip McEwan, and Paul Isaac; godmother, Karen Paul-Denny; cousins, Brian Stephen Nevin and Wendy Ann Denny.
Tina was an avid reader, she loved music and was a Boston sports fan. She was a certified paralegal and enjoyed photographing nature. She was an old soul who loved fashion and shopping. Her smile would light up a room. Tina's deep faith helped her through her life journey. She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.
Visitation for Tina will begin after 7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 14 at her residence, 118 Tupsi Drive, Membertou. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 16 at Our Lady of Fatima Church, with Rev. Bill Burke officiating. Burial in Membertou Memorial Gardens. Salite will follow at the Membertou Trade and Convention Centre.
