Today I am so saddened to discover that the world has lost one of the greatest people I have had the privilege to know. I find it oddly comforting that he died at the same age as other greats like Greg Lake of ELP & David Bowie. I worked with Tip for 2 years back in the early 1990's at the place in Venice, CA and he was a very major influence in my life, and remains so today and everyday. Working with him making architecture, drinking coffee so strong that it curled your hair, eating amazing vegetarian dishes around the dinner table after work, then listening to him play the guitar and sing old folk songs - it has left indelible memories of the way a life should be lived. He lives on in my heart and in the stories I have told and continue to tell of our time together. Amelia and Graham, I send to you my deepest and most heartfelt sympathies and love. He was a great person, and at least we had him for the time we did, albeit it too short. Sincerely, Josh Kolodny
