Toby May McDowell Rives Harty

Toby Rives was one of finest folks I met Texas A&M almost 50 years ago. She was the faculty sponsor for one of the honor societies I joined in 1978. We became friends. She helped me quite a bit that last year. I remember the day she called and asked if I would be interested in serving the TAMU representative on Baylor University´s homecoming queen selection committee in my hometown of Waco. Let me think. She wanted me to spend a day interviewing dozens of Baylor coeds. Who could turn down that offer? She was a sweetheart. She made a difference in students´ lives.
