38, of Jefferson Township, PA, formerly of Pittsburgh, PA, died unexpectedly Thursday morning at Community Medical Center. He is survived by the love of his life Sarah A. (Morkin) Angelo, and his unborn child, Baby Angelo; cherished son of Cheryl Angelo and the late Ralph Angelo; dearly loved by siblings: Dwayne (Karen) Angelo, Stephanie (Jason) Krasny, Douglas (Jessica) Angelo; proud uncle of Jacob and Nicholas Angelo, Tyler and Rachel Krasny, Olivia Angelo, Amanda and Kaylee Treater, and Owen Morkin. Todd will be deeply missed by his father and mother-in-law Thomas and Karla Morkin, brother and sister-in-law Eric and Elizabeth Treater, brother-in-law Mark Morkin, aunts and uncles and his best friend, Gary Kopesky. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles and Grace Blaser and paternal grandparents, Ralph and Margaret Angelo. Todd attended the University of Pittsburgh, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. He continued his education at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2001, and Certificate in Orthodontics in 2004. During his studies, Todd served as President of the Blue and Gold Ambassador's Club, and was elected to the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society. After graduating, Todd joined a private practice in the Pittsburgh area before purchasing and operating his own practice for two years. In 2006, Todd successfully completed his requirements for Board Certification by the American Board of Orthodontics and was certified in 2007. In 2007, Todd joined the practice Dr. J. Anthony Quinn and Dr. John Mariotti shortly thereafter becoming Quinn, Mariotti and Angelo Orthodontics. Todd was a member of the American Dental Association, The American Association of Orthodontists, The Pennsylvania Dental Association, The Mid-Atlantic Society of Orthodontists, the American Board of Orthodontics and Tri-State Dental Society. Todd was serving as the President of the Scranton District Dental Society as well as a PDA delegate. Todd had a passion for life. His many interests and hobbies included fly fishing, kayaking, airplanes, trains, and vacationing at Topsail Island beach. Todd enjoyed giving back to his community through charitable work. He was active with the National Children's Dental Health Month and was committed to the American Association of Orthodontists Foundations' Cases of the Future which supports education and research. The funeral will be Tuesday from the ALBERT P. O'DONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 2025 Green Ridge Street, Dunmore, with a service at 9:30 a.m. at Saint Paul's Church, 1522 Penn Avenue, Scranton. All those attending the funeral are asked to proceed directly to the church the morning of the funeral.
