Private family services for Todd Cyril Bauman, 70, of Fairmont, MN, will be held at a later date. Todd passed away on October 16, 2020, at his home in Fairmont. The Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.
Todd C. Bauman was born March 25, 1950 in Fairmont, Minnesota, and was the son of Donald and Lorraine Bauman. Todd graduated from Fairmont High School in 1968. He attended the University of Minnesota, where he was an offensive lineman for the Golden Gophers and graduated in 1973 at the top of his class with a degree in History. Todd was an avid fisherman and really enjoyed vacationing and being outside. He was an entrepreneur and created and operated several businesses throughout his lifetime. Todd also had a passion for old school rock, including Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, and ZZ Top to name a few. Todd had a heart of gold and is now at peace in Heaven with his parents, Lorraine and Donald, and brother Tom, who all preceded him in death.
Todd is survived by his two children, Kate Judd (and husband Willie) of San Diego, California and William Bauman (and wife Danielle) of Mammoth Lakes, California. Todd was the proud grandpa of four grandchildren, whom he adored and spoiled. He is also survived by his sister, Gail Bauman.
The family requests in lieu of memorials, that donations be made in his name to ‘Project Turnabout’ a non-profit organization dedicated to helping children, families, and communities across the country to overcome addictive illness. Project turnabout is located in Granite Hills, Minnesota. https://www.projectturnabout.org/take-action#Donate

Todd was a good dude with a good heart and an easy smile. He took pride in teaching me a few things and I enjoyed working for him. May you rest in peace, Todd.

Sorry for your loss. I just found out today. I was one of his care takers at Elmore asst living. I also took care of Leonard. If I had known Leonard would be with me.
