Todd and I were born the same year. If Todd and I met when we were young, I don’t think that either of us remembered. I did meet Todd just a few years ago. Todd is my cousin.
Though, Todd and I had many dissimilar adventurous in life when we shared our stories; we did have some coincidently unique common events which occurred in our lives.
Even with Todd’s passing, I am still learning from his family and him. Learning about life, how to take care of myself, to be independent even when the odd’s seem stacked. Learning from Todd’s dear family, each one of you is inspirational in terms of the love and continued support you provided Todd. Mary, Mary………a mother, far beyond the range of this world’s expectation. Mary, you are a tremendous example of generosity, nurturing, calmness and living with the present moment.
My brief visits which I spent with Todd are memorable. I really enjoyed staying with him at his new home. Eating breakfast in the sunroom, cooking together, have a little plum wine from Amana, watching a movie together….. Laughing.
Spending time with Todd was living in the present, not the past or future. I think that this will be one more thing to contemplate. I just thought Todd was going to be there; and I would come visit him every year like I had in recent times… learning a little bit more about a very courageous, fiercely independent, funny, optimistic and realistic guy…. My cousin Todd. I’ll miss you this remaining journey of my lifetime… next round okay, I hope we meet sooner! Namaste my friend.

It was with great sadness that we received the news of Todd's death. Our kindest thoughts and warmest prayers go out to his family. Over the years, we've had a chance to meet several family members, and, of course, maintained a 27-year friendship with Greg and Carol Carner of Estes Park. So, it is
in the context of this long, deep friendship, that we send our condolences to the entire famaily.

Todd will be missed and never forgotten. We met in the U.S. Coast Guard and were stationed together at CommSta Honolulu "NMO".There are a few things that I know that he enjoyed, the beach, music and good food. Todd was liked by everyone and was a good friend. Always there to laugh at you when you needed it. Thank you Todd for being you, and my friend.

Todd, I will miss you and the times we spent together. Your happiness over the smallest kindnesses always made be feel so humble. During the past few days many memories of you have come to me - our adventuresome rides through the mountains to appointments with your doctor; the tea we stole from his office to enjoy when we got home; and, of course, the terrifying trip to Boulder with Greg's friend Jim when he crossed into the other lane and explained it was just a neighbor he wanted to wave to. I also remember your visit to St. Louis with Mary and Bob when we went out to eat and sat outside. It couldn't get better than that.
I love you, miss you and wish we could have had one more hug. My sympathy goes out to Mary and all your family and friends. Your smile will stay in my heart forever.
Love,
Aunt Barb

I am terribly sad to hear of the loss of my Davenport, and Marine Corps friend. Todd had a vision which was larger than life, and is the reason that I was able to relocate to California. Always a gracious host, we visited him several times in during his tour in Hawaii. Todd was fit, tan, and unbelievably humble. He had a warm smile, and a large warm heart, and a zest for information. Margaret and I will miss Todd, as his family will. I am certain that he is charming our Lord right now and explaining bar recipes and tanning secrets. God bless his family, and may Todd rest in peace. Brandon Reed

A dear loving nephew with an easy smile. Shy as a child and gracious as an adult. Gentle, humble, loving. Strong, a fighter of his disease, lover of life. He will be missed and is now at peace. My love to his Mother and his sister and brothers. Love, Aunt Nadine
