I've known Todd since our swim team days...fast foward many years and he's working on my parents' lawn. So reliable, so hard-working, but also just a down-right good human being. The Forbes family will miss him dearly.

I took the photo of Todd & the pet coyote in 2008 at HSOP. The coyote was a rescue & was taken to either Wyoming or Colorado to a wildlife reserve, by Todd. He cared so deeply for the animals. I worked with Todd from the fall of 2004 to fall of 2012. He was so kind to me & we would often sit outside on a short break, talking about our lives. He truly was "one of a kind" and will be missed so much. RIP Todd.

Todd was undoubtedly one of a kind. I would have loved to have had 10 of him working in the shelter. Not simply because he loved the animals he cared for but he was the most dependable in a job where such responsibility is hard to find. And not so much because it was his job to be so, but because he knew they depended on him. Because he knew they loved him! And while enjoying the people side of that business would be asking too much of any of us who did it for very long at all, he was a gift to the dogs in his care and I am thankful for having known him.

Todd was my partner in crime as teenagers. We shared many experiences. We may not have talked much the last few years, yet I thought of him often.
R.I.P. Todd.
