Todd Walter Israel

Tara and family. We have such wonderful memories of Todd. Nathan was on Cody's pre tyke team where Todd was part of the amazing coaches that year. We had run into him at Rangers games, arenas and the community since then. We thought so highly of him. We will miss him and more importantly the community lost an amazing coach and volunteer. Our deepest sympathies.

Very sad to hear about the passing of Todd. We were neighbours and friends when he was living in Woodstock. Even though it's been about 40+years since those days i remember the fun times with him, Vicky and Blair. My thoughts and prayers are with with you all.

My best friend is Todd's cousin Shari and when she contacted me yesterday, I was so saddened to hear about his sudden passing. I am so sorry for your loss. Even though I have not seen Todd recently, I wanted send my deepest condolences to the entire family. Sending my prayers to all of his family during this difficult time. I was shocked and very saddened to hear about Todd's sudden passing. We only met him once or twice at Crop Science Christmas parties, and he was a very friendly & nice guy. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

I was saddened to hear the news about Todd. I played hockey with him every Wednesday and he was always happy go lucky guy. He always had something funny to say. He told me about how much he enjoyed coaching and gave me tips for coaching. Will miss him and my heart goes out to the Israel family.

Todd you will happy to know a group of us from summer and winter pickup hockey got together tonight and in your honour we all ordered your fav wings and of course just 7 each. Shared a lot of stories and all conversation ended the same about how great a guy you are. Rest in Peace my friend.

Todd came into my life in grade 8. Little did I know back then a life long friend was formed. No matter what group in high school you were in Todd could cross into it. From driving around our Dickee Dee bikes at 13 -14, working carpet facotry 15, working welding shop 16, to his dads big old Pontiac and to riding motorcycles we always worked hard, had fun and found just the right amount of trouble.
Our lives separated for awhile when Todd went north first then west. He came back to us in Kitchener with a beautiful family in tow and we found each other again. Because of Todd I had so many other connections I would never have had. Tara Kaelem and Cody you are all loved, my friend Todd is very proud of you all. He was not afraid to say that during our adult times of finding just the right amount of trouble.
I will always be proud Todd called me a friend, I was a lucky boy to know him and just as much a lucky man to have him in my life.

I was shocked to hear of Todd's passing. It has been along while since I last seen him and I'm greatly saddened that I won't have the pleasure again. Todd was known and respected through out Canada in the welding industry. All of us that worked with Todd out here in Alberta will miss him.

I was so shocked and saddened to hear about Todd. We played pickup hockey together off and on over the past several years and often enjoyed some wings and a pint after the games. On and off the ice, there always seemed to be a smile on his face -- a great guy to be around. I know he will be missed. My condolences to his family.

I have had the pleasure of working along side and competing against Todd while coaching minor hockey. Kitchener will miss all he brought to the children he interacted with. He has touched a great deal of lives over the years through sport. There will be a lot of broken little hearts at the rink this weekend. The 2005 group of house league players and coaches have lost a friend.

The best memory of Todd is watching him play basketball all by himself in the driveway one night. He was doing the through the legs - behind the back, the whole nine yards. He was out there until 10 pm....Every time he sunk a basket he cheered a little and laughed for himself. No doubt he was taking on the kids the next day.
