Todd Maher

Todd, you were the best friend a guy could ever ask for. We shared so many great times and too many tough times, and I learned so much from you- way more than you would would have guessed. Most impressively, you showed me how a guy could brave life's most challenging obstacles, and not only survive, but succeed. You never closed your doors to me no matter how bad I was losing it, and I will always love you like the brothers we were- for two decades.

I still cannot accept knowing I will never see you again. I had so much I wanted to tell you. It was tough enough bearing the loss of Little Todd, our good buddy Young Trucker Doug, and then your dad Bill, but I never thought you would be gone before me... and especially Al Hayes. (Al- I feel your pain, dude.) However, I can only imagine the depth of the sadness felt by dear Patti and Nancy. I hope you two are feeling better now.

Nancy, I miss you so much. You are always so nice to me... a fine example of how Todd was clearly his mother's son. "Quiet Giant" is a perfect description of this honest, hard-working, courageous, kind, intelligent, and wonderfully hilarious gentleman.

Held deep in my heart has always been a special place for you, Todd. TRUE friends are few and few between, and you defined the term. You will be sorely missed by everyone who was blessed enough to know you. Thank you for touching our hearts and minds the way you did. May God bless you, your lovely family, your critters, and your dear friends- who will always be wounded by your untimely departure.

I am so sorry Patti. Todd had become a great friend and a great resource to me as the Distribution Manager at the Portland plant. He never hesitated to help myself or any other manager with an issue regarding the shipping system. I will miss him very much. Please know that both Todd and yourself are in my prayers. Patti and Nancy, I am so sorry for your loss. Todd was such a special part of my life growing up. He had an important family title...my only first cousin. I will hold onto the wonderful childhood memories and reflect on them often. No one could make me laugh like Todd, especially when we were up to no good! They say your cousins are your first friends. I believe that is true. I am proud to call Todd my cousin and my friend.

I was so saddened by this. I have such fond memories of visiting Todd growing up. His house and hijinks were always a good time. Time and life separated us for too long and then brought us back together for too short. I miss you cousin.

Todd was a childhood friend. I remember his freckles, playing under the willow tree, and learning about fire! My mother Sonia remembers his smile and kindness. We send our heartfelt thoughts to Nancy and his family.

Todd will be missed by so many. He was a good friend who always stepped up when it mattered. I appreciated his view on things in hard times, which he helped me with personally during this past couple of years. He will always be remembered with fondness and a smile as I think of him singing(???) and laughing down the hallway.

Todd's unexpected passing has left a personal and professional void. May his family and closest friends find comfort in knowing how many lives he touched.
