Todd Phillips Obituary
MOORESBORO-Jeffrey Todd Phillips, 48, died Sunday, Aug. 7, 2016, at his home. A native of Cleveland County, he is the son of Stephen Phillips, of the home, and the late Margaret Wall Phillips. Todd was a member of Race Path Baptist Church, served on the Board of Directors of the Grace Emmaus Community of the Carolinas, was an active member of the Chevy's Under Glass Corvette Club, and enjoyed working part-time at McKinney-Landreth Funeral Home.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his brother, Michael Phillips and wife Caterina of Lakeland, Fla.; niece, Francesca Phillips; and nephew, Thomas Phillips, both of Fla.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Thursday, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, at Race Path Baptist Church, officiated by the Rev. Randall Cooper.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Steve,
Words cannot express the sorrow I feel with the passing of Todd. I just learned of it today. You and I have been friends so long, but getting reacquainted when Todd volunteered to drive my Grand Daughter in the homecoming parade was great fun. Riding with him and getting to know him better was a great joy that will not be forgotten. I know you are so proud of him, miss him terribly, and hopefully one day good memories will surpass the grief.
