Startling to read of Todd's passing to eternity. My memory of Todd is as an uncommonly authentic, good-humored teen and skilled athlete who made everyone feel relaxed and buoyant. What a life you must have enjoyed with him through the decades.

May the God of hope who fathoms your pain soothe and strengthen you all.

To Todd's family, words cannot adequately express our sorrow when we heard about Todd's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. May our Lord of comfort surround you with His love and peace. Rob and I will really miss Todd.

We heard this sad news today. I remember Todd as a handsome, friendly young man in our college ministry way back in the 1980's. He was always kind and welcoming to us.
So sorry for this sudden loss. Its so terribly hard!

I am so sorry for your loss. It's been a long time since I have seen any of you! I do have fond memories of playing basketball and softball with the Rakestraw boys ... and being the batboy when Jim played softball for South Baptist. Todd was always great fun to be around and I'll always remember big laughs in the old South Baptist gym. I am praying that the 'Father of mercies and God of all comfort' will give you peace in the days ahead.

I never knew you,but I know you were a wonderful husband to my niece. My prayers are with Tami and your children.I know you will all be together again one day.

So sad to hear about Todd's passing. I knew Todd from high school and remember him as a great guy. Prayers to his familly.
