TOM BURKE Obituary
He moved to Green Valley with his wife Joy seven years ago. He was active in Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. He retired in 1988 from sales management for Brown & Williamson Tobacco Corp.
He leaves behind Joy, his wife of almost 27 years; and his children: Kevin Burke (Clear Lake, Wis.), Susan Martin (Newark, Ill.), Mary Gilkerson (Clear Lake), Beth Ramey (Newark), Jim Burke (Sioux Falls, S.D.), Tom Burke (Odessa, Mo.) and Christine Burgess (Austin, Texas); as well as his sister, Betty Vix (Green Valley); brother Jack Hebig (Billings, Mont.); and a multitude of loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial Mass was held in Green Valley on May 28. Plans are being made for a memorial Mass to be held at St. Ann's in Somerset, Wis. on June 13 at 10:30 a.m.
