Surely, he will be missed by all who loved and respected him. I remember watching his broadcasts when he was anchor of ABC´s "Weekend Report", a correspondent at "20/20", and when he reported from the White House as Chief White House Correspondent. He was a voice for many people, and a well-respected journalist. Thank you, Mr. Tom Jarriel; your award-winning legacy will continue.

It must seem strange to get condolences from people you have never met. However, as a news and 20/20 viewer for many years, Tom Jarriel's voice and professionalism will be greatly missed . You could always count on him to bring a story to life and end it with his kind and gentle smile. Life gives you the opportunity to make an impact on whatever path you choose. I will always remember his integrity, his unbiased reporting, his smile, his gentle spirit. He embodied what a journalist should be. He is missed!
