Still am missing Tom especially when going into our fitness center. We would seek each other out, get on the bikes, and the time would fly by with talk about families, sports, and current events.
He was very compassionate in consoling me over the sudden, unexpected loss of my wife of 55 years, and suggested we meet for coffee some time for me to talk about it, when....darn, this happens to him.
My sincerest condolences,
Gary Nelson

I went to Sacred Heart School and Coronado High School with Tom - yes, I had a huge crush on him in 5th Grade! He was always the nicest guy, and I always enjoyed catching up with him at reunions, when he could make it. He always enjoyed life, and I´m glad he had such a loving family - my sincerest condolences... - Gwyneth O´Toole Bent

Tom and I have been friends since our junior year in high school. My family had just moved into our house in Coronado in the summer of 1966 when there was a knock on the door. Standing there was a tall, curly, red headed guy who said "hey, I'm Tom Lehan; I live up the block, see you just moved in and wanted to come over and say hi". We became fast friends.
I cherish those times together and all the good times we've had since.
Tom was a great buddy and wonderful companion. No one was more fun to spend time with on the golf course. He was simply the best and it breaks my heart he is no longer able to be with us. We will all miss his opinions, insights, jokes, laughter, raised eyebrows, side glances and his infectious positive attitude. The party started when Tom showed up!
I so miss you, Tommy and hope that when I get to the next life, you're waiting there to welcome me to the neighborhood.

Very sad to hear of the passing of Tom. I was a contemporary of Tom at American Re/Munich Re in Los Angeles. I looked forward to seeing Tom at management meetings and our discussions on politics, religion, and life issues of the day. Tom usually ended the conversation by reminding me he was a better golfer, I would retort I was better looking.
My wife and I will keep you and the Lehan family in our prayers.

Dear Jane and family. So sorry to hear of Tom´s passing. I worked closely with Tom for many years at American Re / Munich Re and always appreciated his passion for his job and was a tireless advocate for the clients he managed. Please accept my heartfelt condolences and may the perpetual light of Christ shine upon him and your family.

From the day I met Tom almost seven years ago, he was so genuine and inviting, always making me feel like part of the family. It was clear right away that being a caring and engaged dad came naturally to him. He was always intentional about finding shared interests to bond over or offering life advice when he noticed you were making big decisions.
Anyone who knew him knew he had a contagious chuckle that could make anyone smile. One of my favorite stories he loved to tell was about the day Patrick was born, that the nurse wheeled Patrick into the hospital room and announced, `Here... comes... Killer!´ Maybe it was the enthusiasm he told it with or how he struggled to get through his own laughs, but he could always make it funny no matter how many times you heard it.
Family gatherings won´t be the same without a him never forgetting a pause for a `Carnac says´ moment before opening a gift or or his classic eye-rolls after learning the meaning behind the latest slang from whatever new board game he got roped into playing. Wish we had more time together - Tomcat you are so deeply missed by many.
