Tom L. Ogle

WEBB CITY, Mo. — Tom L. Ogle, age 52, of Webb City, Mo., passed away at 2 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at his home following several years of ill health. Tom was born Oct. 31, 1955, near Racine, Mo., and had lived most of his life in Webb City. He worked in the auto body repair business prior to becoming disabled. He was a Christian. Tom married Melinda Gray Dec. 28, 1992, in Joplin. She survives. Additional survivors include two sons, Tom Ogle II, Carl Junction, Mo., and Jimmy Ogle and wife, Terra, Waco, Mo.; one stepdaughter, Shawndra Farmer, Joplin; his father, Cecil Ogle, Carthage, Mo.; eight brothers, George Ogle, Bill Ogle and Ronnie Ogle, all of Carthage, Brent Ogle, Joplin, Paul Ogle, Atchison, Kan., Terry Ogle, Anderson, Mo., Bobby Daniels, Muscatine, Iowa, and Rex Daniels, Farmington, Ark.; one sister, Brenda Smith, Joplin; and four grandchildren, Jimmy D. Ogle II, Tosha Ogle, Zach Ogle and Keisha Ogle. Tom’s wishes were to be cremated. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Hedge-Lewis Chapel in Webb City, with Rev. Jack Daniels, officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hedge-Lewis Funeral Home, of Webb City.
