My favorite author. I have read everything he wrote. Jitterbug Perfume, my favorite, has such an amazing impact on my life, sadly sharing this book cost me a marriage but it was a small price to pay. I see the world completely different now, particularly the absurdity of most of the world we live in.

Tom Robbins 'Still Life With Woodpecker' had the most profound effect on my life. Iloved all your books and will miss you as I read them over and over throughout the rest of my life. Love Lisa

Dear Tom~ I Celebrate Your Life & the impact it had on me from Even Cowgirls to Skinny Legs & All.
Half Asleep In Frog Pajamas- You inscribed to me, messily - frustrated with the spelling of my name - wrote Damnit - signature .
So like you, nothing expected.
I suddenly thought - What's up with Tom?
& find You recently enough - deceased -
but never in my heart will I forget the joy- & the joyous discomfort of reading your yarns-
Jitterbug Perfume on & on

Is it wrong that despite my great sadness at Tom´s death that I am joyful at reading the beautiful tributes and shared quotes and life stories from those signing this guestbook. I feel close to everyone of you. This has never happened to me before at reading of someone´s death. I feel he has brought unity and happiness in one if the most difficult periods in history. Thank you Tom. I feel the love and happiness of your "work"
I had a delicious tomato sandwich when I read of your death.

Following his own star, Tom is off somewhere, eating a plate of steaming red beets on a cloud. Then, again, it might well be that juicy ripe tomato sandwich slathered in mayo, he recommended...

I was introduced to your writing by a fellow novel lover and reading Jitterbug Perfume gave me life. I just finished your autobiography today and was saddened to hear of your passing. Thank you for your timeless stories.

Big fan as a 70s teenager; enjoyed irking my wonderful senior English teacher by including Robbins on my Summer of 16 reading list. I recall reading a bit of Even Cowgirls as I paused at a roadhouse while hitchhiking to Margaret River and falling asleep under a palm tree, which seemed appropriate. Robbins' inimitable style and creativity in life and work influenced my life choices. Anyone feeling jaded with humanity will do well to read Robbins for a shot of serious relief and kooky levity. Vale Tom and thanks for the guidance when I had none xxx
