It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tom Wehe, a beloved family man and pillar of his community. Tom was born on April 19, 1942, in San Antonio, TX to his loving parents Hugo and Dorothy (Perrin) Wehe. He peacefully departed from this world on January 22, 2025, in Schertz, TX at the age of 82.

Tom also leaves behind his dear sister Mary Jo Voitle (Tomball, TX) as well as nieces and nephews who will forever hold him in their hearts.

A dedicated farmer and rancher, Tom had a passion for all things agricultural. His love for the land showed in the countless hours spent preparing the soil, planting, and harvesting numerous crops. Tom had a dedication to raising quality hay for his herd of cattle. Tom was a John Deere enthusiast, enjoyed collecting tools, and his commitment to sharing the craft of farming with others will be remembered fondly by all who knew him. In addition to farming, Tom held several other jobs throughout his years; Schlather's Feed & Grain, Marion Welding shop, Timber Tech Lumber Co., he also proudly ran and operated his own repair shop servicing a multitude of farm equipment. He was a long-standing member of St. John Lutheran Church, where he served on the church council and was actively involved in various community initiatives.

Tom made valuable contributions to society, serving on the Luling Foundation, as a trustee, the Farm Services Committee, and the board of directors with Farm Bureau. His volunteer work with the Guadalupe County Fair Hay Show Association and the Cibolo Volunteer Fire Department demonstrated his selfless dedication to helping others.

Known for his kindness, gentle nature, and unwavering love for his family, Tom will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His pride in his heritage and his commitment to his community set an example for generations to come.

Mark, Brenda and Anthony - you have our deepest sympathy at your time of sadness in the loss and passing of Tom. We treasured our friendship with him. Tom was a man of integrity, kindness and always concerned for his friends. We were blessed to have spent so much time with him, sharing stories, hunting adventures, friendship and his knowledge of so many things. He will be greatly missed, but we can find comfort knowing he has met his Lord and Savior, Jesus. May he rest in peace and may you find comfort in you time of sorrow.
