Dear Carolyn, Amber, and family,
Sorry we can't be with you tomorrow for Tommie's service and tonight to hear the "Tommie Stories." Carolyn, Barbara still remembers running into you and Tommie with all three Gray grandchildren in tow at Baskin Robbins, which we recall was a favorite thing for him and his grandchildren when they were younger.
Love to all,
Jim and Barbara Dale

Dear Carolyn and family,
May the Lord bless and strengthen you. I know this is hard for you Carolyn to say bye to your best friend, ever! You are so in my prayers, thoughts and actions today. I mean this so sincerely, may God take you under his wings for the next few months and guide you along until you are ready to fly solo. Remember you are never alone. You have many friends and relatives praying for you everyday. I remember all the fun times we had together and it seems like yesterday. A great moment for me was beating Tommie in tennis!!!
Love you, Jody Whittinghill

The Final Salute
“Brothers in Arms”, Military men and women down through the centuries, have traditionally exchanged “Hand Salutes” as a sign of recognition and as a way to render courtesy and respect one to another.
This “Hand Salute” is the last that we shall render to Tommie Edward Lohman our “Brother-in-Arms”. To his family it symbolizes the love and respect that we have for Tommie. And to Tommie it is rendered as a symbol of honor and gratitude to thank him for the devoted and selfless service he rendered to his country while serving in the U.S. Army. Tommie, you are a true patriot, who served with honor and distinction. We bid you a sad farewell. You will be dearly missed from among our ranks. Be at Ease. Rest in Peace.
On behalf of the 1,307 military veteran Legionnaires of Lowe-McFarlane Post 14 of the American Legion, I extend our sympathies and our condolences to Tommie's family and loved ones.

Mrs. Lohman and family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time. I knew you many years ago in Richardson. I took care of your girls once when you went on a trip. I went to First Baptist Church in Richardson. You probably remember my Mother more than me (Barbara Miles Ellsworth). She and my sister Vickie send their condolences as well. Our prayers will be with you the next few days. In God's Love, Debbie Miles Burch - Bryan Texas

Carolyn, My deepest sympathy to you and the family. I know exactly what you are going through since Karon Passed away on January 22, 2012. If you go to my Face Book site you can see and hear Sophomore Cadet Amanda Pike play taps. Bully and Sylvia were there and told me it did not look good for Tommy.
