Tom R. Arnhart, 75, passed away unexpectedly April 23, 2025. He was born November 10, 1949 in Raymondville Texas to Larry Dale Arnhart and Patricia (Kennard) Stevenson.

He graduated from Lovelock High School in 1967; enlisted in the Army in 1968 and was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in 1969 in the Corp of Engineers at Fort Belvoir, VA. He completed Mechanic's Maintenance Training at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. He was stationed in Italy and Germany until 1972, where he was able to attend Octobterfest 3 years in a row. He ended his military service as a 1st Lieutenant. He returned to Nevada and worked with his mother at Lahontan Valley News as a photographer, advertising sales and printing from 1972 to 1975. He then went to work for Title Service and Escrow as a Title Officer from January 1976 to January 1980. He became a consultant for Stewart Title and continued to work until his passing.

Tom was an avid hunter, fisherman and amateur photographer. He enjoyed deer hunting in Kingston Canyon and creek fishing in rural Nevada, as well as ocean fishing in San Francisco and Oceanside. He was a fan of the NFL, particularly the Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers, and loved to watch football every season. He was becoming a fan of the UFL with the San Antonio Brahmas and Birmingham Stallions being his favorite teams. Tom loved to cook, and took great pride and pleasure in creating his own twists on traditional dishes. He also loved to make his own deer salami and summer sausage; bacon and breakfast sausage, as well as smoking meats like brisket and salmon; he loved to garden and grow his own vegetables, as well as nurturing his peach trees, apple tree and grapevines.
