Mr.T, as our girls called him, was such a kind, gentle, helpful, faithful friend and companion to Jerry. He and Jerry enjoyed 30+ years of kidding each other, had fun calling each other "crip" and "dummy". They helped one another with projects, building, remodeling one another's homes and workshops. He and Jerry so enjoyed hunting, trapping animals, fishing and camping together. Tommy was a true friend, closer than some of our own family. He never embellished or had to outdo you. He didn't have to yell to get his point across. He always greeted us with a smile. Tommy was a quiet and honest man, a very hard worker with a BIG heart. Tommy was indeed a man of his word and was always willing to go the extra mile to support us and our girls. He helped Jerry when Jerry had had a car accident on icy roads. Tommy willingly drove on the ice and quickly came to Jerry's rescue. Another time, he helped Jerry search for SKIN that Jerry had cut off while making a knife and took Jerry to hospital to have it sewn back on. If we ever needed help, Tommy was always there. He and Nancy are just part of our family and though we know he's participating in the joy of heaven and is more alive now than he ever was, we miss him greatly and are looking forward to spending eternity with him.

I met Tommy at Lee's processing about 12 years ago when I was a carpenter. Tommy asked me if I wanted to do work for the City of Mansfield so that was the start of our friendship. I learned how good of a man he was and he was like a father to me. Tommy could do anything from electrical work to carpentry work. He could do anything he set his mind to. He was a great mentor to me with his work ethics and hunting skills. He always called me rascal. :) After meeting Nancy, they always welcomed me with open arms and I just adored them. He's deeply missed! I'm going to miss being called rascal. Our love and prayers are with you Nancy through this time.

What powerful memories we have of the times Tommy spent with us here in Kansas. We so enjoyed having you both here for our open house when we showed our new home as well as the special times that weekend with you and Tommy. Bill and I, along with our children, especially Justin, will always remember you both and especially Tommy doing some riding, working calves, hunting, and sharing our friendship. Nancy, you are in our thoughts and prayers as we share your loss.

Tommy was like a little brother to me. He went to work for me at White Electric as a 16 year old working at a local Grocery store. He like myself had a deep interest in Electricity and became a good electrician. We were togeather eating lunch when the news of President Kennedy being shot came over the radio. Tommy and I hunted deer togeather but the main thing he did was introduce me to Retta Bapt Church. I will really miss my little brother.

Mr T. And Miss Nancy came into our lives during a routine weeknight church visitation - back in the day when people did that. Daddy and Mr T soon became inseparable. Since I was a daddy's girl, I hung around them a lot. Mr T always had a silly smile on his face and something funny to say. He liked to call my sister and I "rugrats" and I always felt it was a term of endearment.
We spent many holiday celebrations together over the years. Most recently we would quietly talk about how sad it was to see his mental decline. His sense of humor was still evident though. Everytime I greeted him I would say "hello handsome" and he'd reward me with that little silly smile of his.
I love you Mr T. I'll look forward to seeing your silly smile again in heaven where I'm sure you are keeping Jesus laughing.

Tommy was a wonderful man. I remember when we used to go hunting he would lay out candy for me in the deer stand the night before so I could have a snack. He always called me rugrat and I called him Mr T. I loved him dearly. Thank you for sharing your lives with us Nancy. You both will always be our family. We love u so much.

Tommy was one of the best man I have ever seen or known. It has been such an honor to have him as my cousin. There is nothing he would not do for me or my children. My children have always considered and called you and Nancy Aunt and Uncle.

You both are the finest Christian people being loved and cherished by so many family and friends. I will miss Tommy and his sweet grin. My love and prayers go out to you Nancy.

God has Blessed so many of us, with the opportunity to be part of Tommy and Nancy's circle of friends. I have known them for over 14 years and have always cherished their friendship. Tommy was always so willing to take time to help with anything that he could, and there was an endless supply of knowledge, that he was willing to share. Tommy will always be remembered as a Special Friend and will be missed dearly by everyone who knew him.
