Watching you pitch for the Braves vs. the Astros in a 2012 game being shown tonight on April 10, 2020. So sad that you lost your life at such a young age. May you rest in peace.

Does anyone know where Tommy's parents live now?

Tommy Hanson was one a hell of a pitcher for the Braves and he was very good player he will be truly missed so sorry for the family he was an honor to have in baseball as a pitcher . R.I.P.

I worked with Tommy's dad and camped and fished in the Sierras with his family & friends. I was a loyal Tommy fan. So excited when he made it to the majors. I came to the local games and wore his Hanson t-shirt.He was so talented and such a nice guy.I was so devastated to hear of his passing. My thoughts & prayers are with all his family and friends.

My condolences to the entire Hanson family during your time of sorrow. Most people spend a lifetime trying to achieve their dream. Tommy not only achieved his dream, but also he excelled in doing so. My desire is that you find comfort in the words of Luke 20:36. Be assured that Tommy's life is deeply stored in God's memory and can be recalled at will.

I only knew Tommy as a player. I didn't know him personally. I did get his autograph on two baseballs when he worked out at Rocky Thorne's Baseball Conditioning. My son has one of them. He is a pitcher in the Angels minor leagues. But Tommy's passing saddens me very much. God bless Tommy and his family. And his dog.

Our prayers and condolences to the Hanson Family. I was Tommy's Sunday School teacher in San Bernardino, California at New Life Fellowship. He was a great kid coming from an awesome family. Tommy was a success and touched the lives of many demonstrating the heart beat of true family. Tom, Cindy, and Shabrie though we have been apart, you were not forgotten. I can recall Tommy tossing a baseball to my then 10 year old son during batting practice in 2012. He made a young child's day by taking the time to seek him out of the crowd and share a gift. He would sign that baseball and it proudly sits on display in my son's room today.

I was to watch Tommy grow up in Baseball, he was what all men of baseball should have been. I, m very sympathy for you and your families. Just Rember Mr.Baseball cares about all the players the have a great sportsman ship leader,oh,well now you can look up and this sky of seeing him Hit the Home Runs for all who belive in a Great player like him, in the hands of the Lord.

My family and I are so sadden by this news. We will keep Tommy Hanson's family and friends in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

He was such a talent. I was so excited when he was called to replace a fading Tom Glavin. He was our next Tommy Glavin. Like Hanson, I too was in a medically induced coma in 2011 so I missed his "down fall" late in the 2011. I was shocked when he was traded and here I sit shocked again. RIP Big Red you are finally pain free.

I will never forget that game at Turner Field against the Red Sox where you dominated a very tough lineup and you were sick. I had your uniform shirt. Watched you pitch many games. RIP. You will be missed but not forgotten.

I'm a Nats fan, and even though the Braves are a rival of ours, this kind of thing is way more important than a stupid sports rivalry.
