Dear Tommy,
Such great memories of our youth! You called me the "duchess of Glenageary" and dropped little notes through my letter box! I was smitten no doubt about it at a very tender age! Our recent correspondence through linkedin (my doing) when you told me how happy you were with your wife and children and I was able to tell you about my life, my children and grandchildren! May you Rest In Peace Tommy.
I found out about your passing at a school reunion at Glasthule this summer! It totally shocked me! Can we really be this old? Rest my friend. You will always have part of my heart!

Stephen was a great person to be with and fun to work with. I had the great honour of teaching Stephen to dance for BBC 3cr Dancers in Need raising money for Children in Need. Although I had seen Stephen on the television and was a fan this was the first time I met Him in real life. He was just so easy to work with.
I admired Stephen bravery in facing head on his illness and the tremendous work he did for motor neurone disease. I will miss him and he will miss by many but never forgotten. Rest in peace. My condolences to all his family at this time.

One I do know, Stephen Rhodes has a great sense of humour. When Steve ball was ommited from the euros, Stephen, porkie and the most intelligent man to come out of Yorkshire, Phil Dixon aka the prof. Porkie had his hair died and Stephen was talking to the barber plus ripping a new one to a fake Brian robson but it was funny and very the listeners loved. One of a kind guy, he will be sadly missed and heaven has gained a legend behind the mic. Rip
