Toni SHANNON Obituary
Toni Shannon, 72, of Hillsborough, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, October 14, 2024.
She was born January 7, 1952, in Brooklyn, NY, to Nancy Squires Tempesta and Rudolph Tempesta.
Toni was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She
is survived by her husband, Michael, her daughter Krista (John) and her grandchildren, Harper and Avery Lawson. She was preceded in death by her sons, Michael and Sean, and her mother, Nancy.
A celebration of Toni's life will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 1-4 at her home. We invite all who knew and loved her to join us in honoring her remarkable life and the countless ways she enriched our lives.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center in her memory.
Though she may be gone from our sight, she will forever remain in our hearts. We love you."
