Ms. Toni Vaz was an actress and the first Black stuntwoman in Hollywood, best known for being the creator of the NAACP Image Awards. We hope many of the encouraging words and thoughts on this site comfort you during this difficult time also. May you find comfort in your wealth of fond memories together with your dear loved one Ms. Toni Vaz. May Almighty God in the Heavens comfort your hearts with peace and loving kindness as you cope with this precious loss in your lives. May family, friends and extended family cherish her memories and legacy.

People say that an important way to age gracefully is to stay active as long as possible. This is one of many attributes that describes Toni Vaz! A famous proverb says: "All the days of the afflicted one are bad, but the one with a cheerful heart has a continual feast." It means if you see everything negatively, you will feel "afflicted" and every day will appear "bad," or gloomy. But if you focus on positive things, you will have "a cheerful heart" and even feel joyful. Your dear one, Toni Vaz, was not satisfied with just doing the status quo! She accomplished a lot - 101 years young! Thank you to the family of Toni Vaz for sharing her with us. Her positive attitude is contagious.
