TONY RICHARD BERGER, 83, beloved father, grandfather and brother, passed away December 01, 2003. He was born in Anderson, Texas and was one of thirteen children born to Albert and Rosalie Berger. He was a veteran of WW II serving in the U S Army and a member of American Legion Post #560. Tony was an avid rancher and loved western swing and polka music. He enjoyed playing the guitar and was known as the Texas Paradise Rhythm Boy. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 32 years, Marguerite; his parents and nine brothers and sisters. Tony is lovingly survived by his children, Susan Cavanaugh; Phillip Berger and wife Connie; grandchildren, Justin and Krystle Cavanaugh, Kyle Berger; great-grandchildren, Christopher and Cheyenne Cavanaugh; brother, Johnny; sisters, Theresa and Christine; numerous nieces, nephews and relatives. The family will gather for visitation at 3:00p.m. and a Rosary will be recited at 4:00p.m. on Saturday, December 03, 2005 at Guadalupe Funeral Home (formerly Earthman) 5100 North Freeway. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 2:00p.m. on Sunday, December 04, 2005 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church with interment to follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, both in Anderson, Texas. Pallbearers will be: Justin Cavanaugh, Ronnie Kasowski, Brian Marshall, Jerome Novakowski, Joe Harris, Vince Gallegos, Brooks McLaurin, Ron Sokol. Honorary pallbearer, Kyle Berger. The family would like to thank Dr. Gerald Maness and his assistants for all their support and care.

Tony was a very kind person we will all miss him and love him.

I truly enjoyed his visits to doctor Maness's office.
