Always had a smile on his face with great positive energy and made a deep impression on me to have a great time playing music with my band mates in Los Angeles. Very grateful for the moments shared . Peace , Jason Goodman.

Great to hear from you Robyn after al, these years. My mum passed away last year having lived in Raleigh Street Coogee for 74 years. My wife and I just got back from France which is our favourite travel destination. Where do you live over there?

Grew up on the border of Coogee and Randwick around the corner from where Tony and Robyn lived with their parents in the 1950's. I recall that his dad did some radio announcing on 2CH.
Just watched the Easybeat tribute on ABC tonight. It brought back many happy memories of this fabulous group.

I light up this candle, in memory of you, as memories flow back, to a time not forgotten. Beside being a brilliant drummer, you were a good friend . We had some intetesting converations about life in general. Then shared your last performance in Brisbane. Thanks for having been an important part of my life.

I am keen to get in touch with Tony's family as I believe I may be a close relative of Tony's from Bondi days. I am very sad to hear of his passing as I had never met him, but was keen to make contact.

Sad to hear of Tony's passing. I had been thinking of him lately and wondering what he was doing now. Tony was the Purple Hearts second drummer. I was in a relationship with Lobby during (and after) that time so only knew Tony for a short time as he left Melbourne after the Hearts broke up. He was a brilliant drummer and though I did not know him well it fills me with sadness to think he is no longer here. Lob & Bill will appreciate his being on their side and Norm Sweeney is also there to roadie. We'll all be back together some time soon. Love to Tony's family.

I have fond memories of the Purple Hearts at my early Melbourne club Sebastian's . They all arrived from Brisbane in a combi and thrilled our customers with great musicianship driven by Tony and taken over the top by their amazing frontman Mick. They don't make like that anymore. RIP Tony Michael Browning.

Many exciting hours spent watching The Purple Hearts in the 60s, the only band around that could do justice to such an innovative drummer as Tony. Sadly missed.
