Tony DI GENNARO Obituary
It is with great sadness and shock that we announce the sudden passing of Tony Di Gennaro, my (Helen) beloved husband and father to Melissa, on August 23, 2017. He leaves to grieve his brother-in-law, Stan (Madeleine), his sisters-in-law Mary and Jo- Ann (Tony), as well as his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, many cousins, numerous friends and colleagues. He led an accomplished life, working as the Director of Marketing for Ultramar for 33 years. He was a Councillor for the City of Kirkland for eight years, while also volunteering his time and expertise serving on the Board of Directors of the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation. He was also involved with the Terry Fox Run, the Salvation Army Food Drive, and many other organizations. His passion for Kyokushin Karate led him to the title of Sempai Tony, first degree black belt (Shodan). He will be greatly missed by all and never forgotten. Visitation will take place at the Belvedere Funeral Complex, 22025 Route Transcanada, Senneville, QC on Monday, August 28 from 7-9 p.m., and Tuesday, August 29, from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Tony's life will take place in the chapel of the funeral complex on Wednesday, August 30 at 11 a.m. Donations can be made to the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation.

We were the 4 musketeers. We were always together.The photos come from the graduation pictures of 1970. It took a while to find the pictures, BUT I could NOT forget my commitment to share these pictures with everyone. My condolences to everyone. I think TONY is happy I share his picture with everyone.

I have not seen Tony in years but I remember him as a gentle soul and very dedicated to his parents.He was my older brother Andy's friend(deceased 2010)but he became a family friend. I am deeply shocked to learn of his early passing and express my utmost sympathies to his wife,daughter and family. Although on earth for such a short time he accomplished much. He will be missed immensely by those who knew him and by those that did not as they will continue to benefit from his endeavours within the community. Tony, this candle is to light your way on your new path. God rest your soul......

Shocked and dismayed at the sudden passing of Tony.
His last written words to me were,
"You're welcome",after a referral for a contract. A promise to meet up soon will never happen. Sincere and heartfelt condolences to wife and family. I am so sorry

Tony's passing is so sad. My condolences to the family. Tony attended our little group of italianophiles called Caffè Italiano that meets one afternoon a week. We really enjoyed his warm and cheerful spirit. He got too busy with his myriad of interests and commitments and had to bow out but we missed him and always speak of him fondly.
