Tony Funk Obituary
Father of invention is survived by his wife Sandra of 40 years, son Lon and daughter in law Fanny and son Nathan, daughter in law Stacey and lovely Piper his granddaughter.
He peacefully passed in his sleep after a courageous battle with cancer March 26, 2014.
This fantabulous man left a lasting impression in the hearts of everyone around him.
Tony will be deeply missed by his family and friends and loved forever.
A service will be held to celebrate Tony's life; 1 pm, April 8, 2014 at Brookswood Baptist Church 20581 36th Ave Langley.
We would greatly appreciate, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Pacific Riding for Developing Abilities (PRDA) where Tony and Sandra both volunteered.

Dear Sandra,
Since my return back to Canada, I have thought of both you and Tony so often. I did a search and found that your Beloved had passed and was so very deeply saddened for your loss. I would love to connect with you sometime, if you are of the mind to.
I realize this is very much after the fact, however I believe that we are never too late to reconnect.

To Sandra and all the family, so sad to hear of your loss. I want to send my condolences and prayers to you all. I have wonderful memories of you both and how kind you were to me when I was at my worst. You both showed me how life should be lived and enjoyed with respect and a back bone. Hi Sam...I was so sorry to hear that Tony passed away. Saw Lana at a school reunion and she told me. I haven't seen you guys in years but will alaways have great memmories of you both. I hope that your family is near to offer support. I'm sure that your granddaughter brings you alot of joy. I have 5 granddaughters and one grandson who I absoultely adore. I hope our paths will meet again someday. So much to share. I am confident that you will join your soul mate again in a new life.

My deepest sympathies to you all at this time of sorrow. May you keep the memories close and truly treasure them. I remember Tony down hill skiing, playing a game of monopoly and cross country skiing down the street when it snowed one year....he was a lot of fun, creative and very memorable, always with open arms, kind words and most importantly a smile and cheerful laugh,

Dear Sandra,
What a lovely man Tony was. The both of you were always so warm, friendly and interested in everything Natasha was doing.
When we saw you at the airport last year on the way to Hawaii you looked so happy. Glad you spent that special time together... We will always remember Tony's big smile and the help and support you both gave to Natasha at PRDA.

Dear Sandra,
Our hearts go out to you and your family. You were his rock and he was yours….. Tony was a dear friend even if only for the short two years that we knew each other. I don't know if we were destined to meet when and where we did but we will fondly remember the fun and laughter that the four of us had. He had a wicked sense of humor and an uncanny ability to make you smile. We will also remember how he carried himself when things got rough. He motivated us in our own journey and that is special. We will miss him.
