Tony and his date doubled with me and Truman to the senior prom. We laughed all night because Tony was such a comical, good-natured dude. They don't come as good as Tony, and he will be missed.

My condolences to his family and friends during this very difficult time.

I remember meeting Tony in elementary school. We both attended Brunswick and I thought to myself that boy is really tall By the time we got to the 5th grade he became one of my dearest friends because we walked home together in a group with others. He always looked out for me to make sure I was safe getting home. He lived next door to one of my dearest friends in which I met his family. We went on to being in classes together from Edison to West Side. Tony was alway a good spirit to be around & his smile & laugh lit up a room. He has always been quiet but attentive and a joy to be around. Tony will be missed by me and all our classmates. This picture is from our 40th class reunion class of 1984. Rest well my friend

My fondest memory of Tony was exchanging letters while he was in Boot Camp. He wrote about how he couldn't stay out of trouble because he kept smiling too much!

Praying for the entire Smith family and all those who loved him. May the Lord bestow peace that passes all understanding.
Rest well, Classmate...

The family of Tony Smith. Tony will remain a childhood friend of mine. Delightful personality, funny and friendly guy. Getting last second answers for homework.
Tony met my husband, Morris in 1986 USMC bootcamp in California.
May Psalms 91:1 give you comfort
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the ALMIGHTY.
