I am stopping by to show my love for Tony. A year has gone by and it still seems like yesterday that I received the news. I will keep the family and friends in my prayers because I know its still fresh. Rest in peace, Tony and Alice.

Not a day, nor an hour, minute or second goes by when im not thinking about you... i love and i miss you. your friends and family all miss you, but they're keeping on just as you'd want them to. Say hi to alice and my grandma for me:)

I am not quite sure what to say. I just found out a month ago. Where have I been? I spoke with friends and family and they all heard about it. It's almost been a year and I have just heard. Wow. I also heard about his sister, Thompson Family, keep the Lord by your side. He is always there to pick us up when we fall. May God bless your family and keep your strength in Him.

I am in shock! I just learned of Tony's death. I was a big fan of Hi-5. I was just browsing through Myspace and I came across their page. My heart goes out to his family, friends and fans. It is a sad coincidence that on the day of his death, I was burying my father. So I know your pain of the loss of a loved one. I pray that you will continue to find comfort and peace in the Lord, and the knowledge that we will see them again someday.

I was very heartbroken to learn of this talented young mans death. I loved his song love like that.I still listen to it this very day. God bless and keep the family in his care. My prayers go out to you.

I was deeply saddened and shocked upon learning of the death of Hi-Five leader Tony Thompson. I can vivdly recall when they burst onto the national scene in 1990 with "Just Can't Handle It". My favorite song was "I Can't Wait Another Minute" and along with the video it showed off his vocals at the top of their game when he was so so young. They were pretty young when they hit the No. # 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 Pop Singles Chart with "The Kissing Game". He will be greatly missed.

It is way behind but I just found out two days ago about Tony. I hope God blesses his soul and holds his family and friends near. I have been a fan of Tony's since I was in Jr high. I kinda felt like me and the group grew up together. Tony always stood out to me. Partially because he was so handsome and because the boy could SANG. Never thought he would be gone so soon. With my deepest sympathy I say goodbye to Tony Thompson. Though I never knew you in life I always felt I did. Until we finally meet in Heaven God bless you.

I am just learning of Tony's passing today and I must say that my heart is extremely heavy. I loved Tony's music. He and his voice were both gifts from God. I remember vividly listening to his music with friends while a student at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth. I had hoped to one day see him in concert. I pray for your family's strength during this difficult time. May you find comfort in the memories that you have of Tony. His life, however brief, was very meaningful.

this was heart-breaking to hear for me. i have loved hi fives music since the beginning. 'i cant wait another minute' was my boyfriend and i's song when it first came out. everything they did as a group and what tony did solo i loved and still do. so when i had the chance in 05 to see them perform along with h town silk jon b keith sweat i jumped at the chance. they did an amazing job and tony still sounded the same. i was anticipating the day that i could see them perform again and hear tony sing those sweet melodies.
now with is passing i know that hes singing those melodies and more with the angels. may his family, friends, and fans find peace, comfort, and strength through his memories.

It is amazing how difficult things may seem at times and how we view it as the worst, but with a true belief in GOD, the pains are softened. To the Thompson family, my prayers go out to you, and remeber; what GOD no longer has left on earth for us to do, he has in heaven for us to complete.

My condolences go out to the family of Tony Thompson. I have been a fan of Tony's and Hi-Five since I was 11 and I'm 27 now. Tony's voice put him in the category of great singers even when he was 16.Its just hard to take that the heart and soul of all these talented 90's r&b groups are passing away. First Kenny Greene from Intro, then Dino from H-town and now Tony Thompson. These groups made radio worth listening to. I mean this was REAL talent.I am absolutely devastated over this. RIP Tony I pray that God's loving arms hold you and comfort your family in this dark hour. You are one in a million and will be truly missed.

My first thought was that God truly needed his angel. Tony had the ability to touch people with his voice. With that said his work on earth is done. My prayers go out to those who lost there angel.

But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.

But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;

It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,

And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,

Words cannot express what I feel at this time. I never knew Tony ,personally, but I have been a fan of him and his music since the first time I saw him and the group on BET about 15-16 years ago. I know this is a very tough time for you but please remember to rely on each other and God for the strength to get you through this. You have a beautiful angel looking over you. God Bless.
