Tracy W. Bell, III was born on May 12, 1959, in Columbia, SC, to the late William Bell, Jr. and Clara G. Rone. He peacefully passed away on April 2, 2025, at the age of 65. From an early age, Tracy embraced his faith, welcoming Jesus Christ into his life. He became a valued member of the Second Nazareth Baptist Church on April 21, 2002, under the guidance of the late Rev. J. Walter Hills, I. Within his church, he made significant contributions, particularly through the Culinary Ministry and his enthusiastic involvement in the annual Men's Ministry Fish Fry, where his cooking talents truly shined.

Tracy received his education in the Richland County School District One and graduated from Eau Claire High School in 1976. His love for music led him to South Carolina State University, where he played the drums in the prestigious Marching 101. Shortly after starting his studies, he joined the United States Army and received the Army Service Ribbon and Overseas Service Ribbon before separating with an Honorable Discharge. A dedicated community member, Tracy contributed to various organizations and held the position of former SC Grand Lodge Officer and 3rd degree Master Mason. His generosity and readiness to assist others left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered.

Throughout his career, Tracy displayed his culinary talents in several well-known restaurants in Columbia. In his later years, he shifted to working as a CDL driver, continuing to support his family despite facing health challenges. Tracy is survived by his loving family, who will forever treasure his memory: his children, Siretta T. Bell; LaShell M. Gutierrez and her husband Christopher R. Gutierrez; De'Jarous M. Bell; grandchildren, Philip T. Bell, Gabrielle C. Gutierrez, and Liam C. Gutierrez; sister, Courtney M. Rone; and his Beloved Aunt, Maria Wilson Williams, along with numerous relatives and friends whose lives he deeply impacted. Tracy W. Bell, III will be remembered for his warmth, gentleness, and the joy he spread wherever he went. His legacy of love and service will continue to inspire all who knew him.
