Tracy DINH Obituary
March 16, 1986 - May 13, 2012
It is with sadness the family of Tracy Dinh announce her passing on Sunday, May 13, 2012. She is survived by her parents, Thang and Lien Dinh; sisters, Lindsey (husband Taylor) Ash and Ashante Dinh; nephew, Reid; grandmothers, Huyen Dinh and Nonthaweth; many uncles, aunts and cousins and their families; her boyfriend Cory King and his family; and her beloved "dog " Bailey. Tracy's passion in life was being with her friends and family. Her cheerful, vibrant and positive personality won her way into the hearts of many. She was more concerned about those around her, placing their needs and feelings ahead of her own. Tracy will always be admired for the tremendous courage, grace and strength she showed in her final months. The Dinh family would like to express their thanks to the many people who were involved in Tracy's care, including the kind and compassionate staff at the Palliative Care wing of St. Paul's Hospital, the Cancer clinic, and her social worker. They also wish to thank Tracy's friends who helped establish the Pink Wig Foundation and for arranging a special event in her honour. Memorial donations respectively suggested to the Pink Wig Foundation, C/O Park Funeral Chapel; the Canadian Cancer Society, or to a charity choice. Public Visitation and a luncheon reception will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and the Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 18, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation and Funeral Service will be held at Park Funeral Chapel, 311 3rd Avenue North, Saskatoon. Hi Cory, We are so sorry for your loss of Tracy. Your Grandma Verona talked a lot with my Mom at the Wellington and shared her sorrow with her. There is really nothing I can say to ease your grief right now, but I do know the empty feeling and the heartache that you are experiencing.
We were always told, Remember the good times-- it will get better-- time will ease the pain--That might be so for later on, but for now you just have to embrace it and thank God that she is no longer suffering. You stayed at Tracy's side and helped her thru this. You were her Hero.

Thang, Lien and Lindsey: I have fond, fond, memories of Tracy. I am saddened by your personal loss and our communities loss. Tracy was my very first client when I opened my day care. She was a wonderful, kind, compassionate girl, the kind of girl I wanted my kids to be like. I loved her company and she influenced other children that attended my home.
