Tracy Yvonne Yearty, 58 of Moultrie, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her family after her second battle with cancer.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 1:00 – 1:45 pm at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
A private burial will be held in Westview Cemetery with Travis Yearty, Aprill Neumann, Brett Gerald, Matt Gerald, Aiden Turner, and Ty Wilkes serving as active pallbearers.
Tracy was born January 30, 1965 in Moultrie to Patricia Yearty of Moultrie and the late Bobby Yearty.
Tracy loved her family, especially her grandbabies. She loved attending China Grove Baptist Church with her “sister from another mother” and best friend of 43 years, Tammy. She truly enjoyed fishing every chance she got as it brought her peace. She loved going out on adventures and taking trips with her mom to the casino. Her family remembers her as a jokester whose smile and laugh were contagious.
She is survived by her children Aprill Neumann and husband Joseph of Falls, PA, Brett Gerald and wife Angel Strickland of Moultrie, and Matt Gerald and wife Savannah of Moultrie; grandchildren Aiden Turner, Aubree Neumann, Harlyn Gerald, Parker Gerald, and Carolina Gerald; sibling Travis Yearty and fiancé Lynn Harrell of Moultrie; niece Madison Dudding and husband Shane of Moultrie and nephew Cody Casteel of Moultrie.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to nurses of Regency SouthernCare Hospice Services.
In lieu of flowers, Tracy asked that donations be made to Shriner’s Hospitals for Children.
