Travis James "Travy" Albrecht

In loving memory of Travis James Albrecht of Belle Plaine, MN who passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on November 25, 2023. Travis was born on April 17th , 1979 to Jerry and Beth Albrecht. He spent his childhood honing his quick wit and love of all things nature – both of which carried into adulthood. While he wasn't above a few well-deserved practical jokes at the expense of his brothers and sister, his kindness and gentleness were unmatched. Even as a child, Travis was happiest when he was helping others and making sure they were taken care of. After high school, Travis attended NDSU with a focus in Information Technology. He enjoyed working in the hospitality field for many years. His free time was usually spent outside in some capacity, often working with his hands in the garden or fishing with family. When he couldn't be outside, he enjoyed playing games that showcased his problem-solving abilities. He was happy to engage in some friendly competition over a card game or round of Pictionary. Travis was an exceptional cook, and he loved making meals for others. While Travis had a wide variety of interests and wore many different hats in his life (son, brother, friend), the role in which he arguably shined the brightest was that of "Uncle Travy". He adored his nieces and nephew, and they adored him right back. It was important to him to be a substantial part of their lives, and he was immensely proud of them. His legacy of love and kindness will live on in their lives. To know Travis and his gentle spirit truly was to love him.

A celebration of life will be held for Travis on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 32670 224th Street, Henderson, MN 56044. Visitation will begin at 11 am, followed by a service at noon, with a luncheon to follow.

In lieu of flowers, financial contributions in memory of Travis can be made to his mother Beth. The family plans to make a donation to a local organization dedicated to providing resources for mental health awareness.
