Dear Mr. and Mrs.BArnes I have not seen Travis since Coan Middle School until 2007 at Kroger. I can only say that I am thankful that God allowed me another chance to see an old class mate and to finally meet his parents. He was a good boy and he seemed to be an awesome man as well -you both did a wonderful job with him. May God continue to keep you both strong through all your endeavers and always remember that the entire family is well loved.

To Mr. and Mrs. Barnes
Travis was a guy that was enjoyed by everyone. He was a character of his own.. Always made you laugh. His purpose in life was fulfilled, he finished his race and now he is resting in peace. I was blessed to have known Travis.

To the family of Travis,
I did not know how sick Travis had been, until I learn of his death, this pass Friday. I will miss my friend and childhood boyfriend, we played together many times when we went over to my cousin's, ( The Shield's family). Mr and Mrs Barnes may God truly smile down on you for such a wonderful son he was, also a beautiful person inside and out. I'm here if you need me.

To the Barnes Family,
I finished Bass High School with Travis in 1978. I am grateful that I had a chance to talk with him at length last year to know he was still his old self. We will miss him and his loving way. I will keep you all in my prayers. God bless you all.

Travis, Travis, Travis my friend. We will surely miss your smile, your way of making everyone else see the joys in life no matter what else was going on. We became instant friends because you were almost as crazy as I was. Now you have gone to a better place and you can finally rest in peace. We will all see you again and you will more than likely still make us smile. Your family knows how important you were to them, I just want to let them know that you were and are important to your friends. From your Bass High Bud Franklin, We're going to miss you.

To the Barnes Family,
Travis was quite a special person! Full of personality & fun loving. He always had a joke or something funny to say. I'll never forget his antics with Greg (my brother). He was like a family member to us. Our prayers are with you at this time. We praise God for the testimony of survival from Travis' life. He battled many years and came through victoriously. May the peace of God comfort your family at this time. May you be kept in perfect peace as your minds are stayed on Jesus! Know that many are praying for you and thinking of you during this hour. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning! Travis was a good friend and will always have a special place in my heart. The fond memories span many years from high school through adulthood. I am a classmate from Bass High School (class of 77)
