Travis Michael Eads of Mesquite, Texas passed on October 29, 2016. He was born on February 9, 1976 in Little Rock, Arkansas to parents Michael Eads and Kaye Miller.
Travis was a graduate of West Mesquite High School in 1994; and he met the love of his life Tricia when she was nineteen. Travis and Tricia had talked for a while, lost communication and rediscovered each other a couple of years later only to become married on February 23, 2006. They were happily married for eighteen wonderful years.
Travis was employed for a few years at Rent-A-Center before taking a management opportunity at Papa John’s Pizza. Eventually Travis became a cashier at the Dollar Tree.
An avid gamer, Travis spent his free time playing video games when he wasn’t pursuing a passion for reading or watching movies.
His family describes him as a caring, loving and funny person who would help anyone in need no matter if he had the means to give or not. He would lend his ear, a shoulder, or even give the shirt off of his back if necessary, and Travis never met a stranger. He was Tricia’s best friend. Travis always seemed to make a connection with anyone that he crossed paths with in his life and he tried to maintain friendships as he moved through his employment.
Travis is survived by his loving wife Tricia Eads; his mother Kaye Miller and husband Ken; father Michael Eads; and his brothers Trent Eads and Kyle Miller.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 4:00 PM at Anderson-Clayton-Gonzalez Funeral Home located at 1111 Military Parkway Mesquite, Texas 75149.
