Travis Havard Obituary
Travis, 85 years old, passed away at 9:00 p.m. February 11, 2019
at his home surround by loved ones. He was born May 28, 1933 in Angelina County, the son of Annie Weaver Havard and W.T. Havard.
Travis was preceded in death by his parents, Annie and Travis Havard; sister and brother-in-law, Annie Lee and Jeff Curry; brothers, L.T. Havard and William Grover Havard.
Travis is survived by his wife, Ruby Havard; son, Darryl Havard and his wife Audra; brother, Charles Havard and his wife Vernell; and grandchildren, Stevie Ross, Tish Havard, Jett Hankamer, Hunter Havard, Julie Mahaffey and John Mahaffey; 10 great-grandkids; several nieces and nephews; and many good friends.
Travis was a member of A.F. and A.M. Lodge #1263 and Lodge #669 for 65 years, and was a United States Army veteran who served in Panama. Travis had a career in the paper industry. He loved traveling and making friends.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Services have been placed in the trust of Gipson Funeral Home.
