Obituary

Trent A. Crockett, 75, of Grand Forks, ND died Friday, March 19, 2004 in Altru Hospital, Grand Forks.
Trent Crockett was born April 29, 1928 in Langdon, ND, the son of Elmer and Florence (Livingood) Crockett. He grew up and attended school in Langdon, ND and graduated from high school there. He married Marlene Bassingthwaite. He served in the US Army during the Korean conflict. Trent lived in Calvin, ND, Cambridge and Braham, MN and then moved to Grand Forks. Trent worked in Grand Forks as a custodian for the Grand Forks International Airport until retirement. During retirement Trent served his community delivering meals on wheels. He is survived by: Daughters: Kerry Crockett - Manassas, Virginia Christine (Tim) Hughes - Grand Forks; Brothers: Daryl (Jean) Crockett - Grand Forks; Sister: Marlys Patterson - Grand Forks; Grandchildren: Patrick and Jonathan. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services will be Tuesday, March 22, 2004 at 10:30 AM in Sharon Lutheran Church, Grand Forks. Visitation will be Monday from 5 to 7 PM in Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 South 42nd St.,Grand Forks. Amundson Funeral Home, Grand Forks, ND.

I worked at Avis Rent a Car at the Grand Forks International Airport,(1981-1984) Trent was also employed at the airport, he was always cheerful and a very hard worker.
