Treva Cardwell Miller

Treva Dale Cardwell Miller, died peacefully with her family surrounding her on the 31st of May, 2017 at the Memphis Jewish Home following a brief illness. She was a lifelong Memphian, and hairdresser for 66 years where she made numerous lifelong friends and relationships. She loved family, family gatherings and she was the oldest of four children. Treva was a dedicated Christian and a member of Bellevue Baptist Church. The family will gather to receive friends on Friday, the 2nd of June from five o'clock until seven o'clock in the evening and funeral services will be on Saturday, the 3rd of June beginning at ten o"clock in the morning all at Memphis Funeral Home, 3700 N. Germantown Road, Memphis, TN 38133. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Southwoods Cemetery and Pastor Doug Barcroft will lead the services that day. Along with her parents, Treva was also preceded in death by two siblings, Mary Anece Shaw and Edward E. "Buddy" Dale and her two husbands, James T. Cardwell, Sr. and Frank Miller and stepson, Frank "Donnie" Miller. Treva is survived by her two sons, Tommy (Janet) Cardwell and Alan (Sandy) Cardwell; brother, J. R. "Ronnie" Dale; stepson, Lee Miller; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
