Tristan Rogers Obituary
He played international spy Robert Scorpio on "General Hospital" in the '80s and '90s, then returned later for brief appearances and rejoined the show in recent years.
Rogers is being remembered as a "General Hospital" fan favorite – he was only supposed to appear on two episodes, but he was such a hit that he was asked to stay on for many years.

My favorite actor ever. I have been a devoted GH fan since 1980 and not long after Tristan came to GH that he became my favorite on the show. As the years went on and he left I would google his name in the early 00´s to see when he was returning. The anticipation for his return or while he was in a story was exciting for me. I truly loved him Tristan and his role as Robert Scorpio. I´m terribly sorry to his friends and family as they navigate their lives without Tristan. Thank you Tristan for your legacy and the many memories you´ve given me! RIP!!

I've never met Tristan but feel like I've known him all my life. He was a special actor that could pull you into any scene. He made me laugh and cry. He made me very happy and sometimes sad. He lived a long and happy life and brought so much joy to millions. May God Bless his wife and family and bring you peace. This is a tough one for me. I can't even imagine how they are feeling.

It is so sad that daytime soaps have lost another actor who was well known for his ability to keep a captive audience. Triston's role as "Scorpio" was part of a great cast on the General Hospital set. His wit and humor along with his two sidekicks "Luke Spencer" and "Anna Devane" could not be matched. He was a husband, a father and no doubt a great friend to all who knew him personally and professionally.
To the family please remember, God is close to the broken hearted. There is never a tear drop that he doesn't see. He knows when a sparrow falls from a tree. There is never a moment when God doesn't care, and never a time when he won't hear our prayers. Better days are ahead as you continue on the journey of life.

The first time i saw Robert Scorpio was in November 1983, as i was in the hospital with a broken leg. I was 14 back then, and it was unusual for a teenage boy to be watching "soaps", but i have to admit i was hooked. Everybody involved was soo cool to watch. I hope that the family may find peace and comfort he was loved and appreciated by a lot of people. Mr. Tristan, may you rest in peace. Just remember, he will be seen again someday.

I´ve been watching General Hospital since I´m a teenager in the late 70s and have watched a daily ever since Tristan was my first TV crush and has been ever since. I will deeply miss his character on General Hospital. He truly seem to be, a warm, charming, humble person. He aged like fine wine. I never knew that he was nominated for several awards in 2020 and 2021. He won an Emmy in 2020, his career spanned decades and peaked in his seventies. He is a legend and an inspiration to all of us. He will be remembered with great respect and admiration.

An iconic actor playing an iconic role. Scorpio is my all time favorite character and I´m devastated to hear of his passing. He aged beautifully and won an Emmy in 2020. He was the most handsome actor on General Hospital, a real man who had a gravitas to him (compared to pretty boys who couldn´t act). General Hospital wasn´t the same after he left the show.
