Troy Lamie Obituary

Lamie Troy Etny Lamie, 31, died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010, at his home in Saltville. He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Lamie; paternal grandfather, Frank Lamie; and maternal grandparents, Katherine and John Gates. Survivors include his mother, Diane Allison, and stepfather, Rodney Allison; brothers, Travis Lamie and Trenton Lamie; future sister-in-law, Tiffaney; paternal grandmother, Virginia Lamie; and two precious nephews, Dalton Ray Lamie and Evan Lee Lamie. All are of Saltville. Funeral services were conducted on Friday, Oct. 8, at 8 p.m. at Henderson Funeral Home with the Rev. James E. Gentry officiating. Visitation was from 6 until 8 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Burial will be conducted Saturday, Oct. 9, at 11 a.m. in Ridgedale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Steven Smith, Jeff Cline, Josh Pressley, Dale Stewart, Stan Surber and Shannon Cline. Online condolences may be made to drhendersonfuneralhome.com D.R. I was so sorry to hear that Troy had passed. When we worked at the lube together, he was so sweet to me and I will always remember that. You and you family are in my thoughts and prayers.
